From the sunshine into the passing mists of time.......

Am I just at that time of mid-life crisis, or do you all agree that the weather for our last ever game was really strange......?

Glorious sunshine ending with a last great victory together with the winning goal coming in the 91st minute.. a real sunset as the daylight faded......then that weird and wonderful mist rolled in and enveloped the ground.
As i walked away from Christie for the last time, I turned and looked again, and it almost seemed that the ground was being taken away from us in a sort of spiritual mist :(

After all, it could have been just another of those wet nights when it tipples down all game,
no, I'm not losing the plot, I just think the weather was so poignant last night.

I agree. As a matter of fact, I thought it was pouring with rain as it looked that way from the press box.

It was surreal at the car to hear the fans still singing and chanting...drifting off into the mists of time

Agree with everything said above. Felt really weird at the time, not just in hindsight. The weather was pure theatre.

Stood on the pitch when Jimbo and Sammy were talking to the crowd was all a bit strange really.

Apparently the Sky commentators thought it was raining as well!
