I'm still hoping this is going to be rescheduled, I've still had no contact as yet from the club about a refund, Have any of the other teams?

Somebody from the club contacted me telling me that the day had been postponed and that they'd be in touch about the possibility of the event being rescheduled. This was some time ago, though I can appreciate the club have had a busy couple of weeks.

I'm quite sure Rod Taylor said last night when I bumped into him as he left the ground, that "we" had to vacate Christie Park on Sunday.
So unless an alternative venue is arranged I can't really see this going ahead.

If that is the case then the club should be able to come out with an announcement fairly quickly. There is little chance of something being hashed together before the weekend, and even if there was it doesn't exactly give the sides that have entered much time to reschedule their own plans if needs be. I doubt many from my team would play if it's not on Christie Park, that being the major attraction of entering a side in my opinion. The free tickets are great if you aren't already a season ticket holder, and the first prize is great if you are not largely out of shape! :D

Have to agree with redredwine the only reason we entered was for the chance to play on Christie Park. I'd got my forms before the free tickets were announced. I'm sure I could manage a team if it were rescheduled before the eviction.
