Daggers have lost twice 6-0

Somebody rung me today to tell me that the Daggers have lost twice this season 6-0.

If true..no reason to suppose it couldn't be three times!

It might not happen, but a couipe of goals in the first 15 and who knows.

We have lost once this year 6-1 vs a very good Huddesfield side in the FA cup.

Up The Daggers!

Not even close I am afraid. This season we lost 6-1 in the FA Cup to Huddersfield, but other than that have shipped 5 once (lost 5-2 at home to Aldershot), and no more than 3 in any other game. Our worst league defeats are 3-0 to Nott$ County twice and that 5-2 to the Shots. http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/teams/Dagenham.html

Having said all that, a couple of quick goals for you on Thursday and it will still be squeaky bum time. The fact that you are going to have to go all out means I can't see us not scoring though, and every one we get means you have to get one more back. I'd say if we score first, or its 0-0 at half time its all over.

Still, as a wise man once said, "it's a funny old game Saint."

May I refer the honourable member for Dagenham East to the following:

http://bullsnews.blogspot.com/2010/02/memories-from-dagenham.html

And also to the fact that we scored three in four minutes against Crewe only a few weeks ago AND to my youngest daughter who, regular readers may have spotted elsewhere, has already told some of your fans that it's going to be 'eight-zero!' (and you mess with her at your peril!)

Now keep it schtum and let us residents of Fantasy Island enjoy our mad ramblings!

:D
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!
