O/T - 2 Charity events this week

On Thursday Night we are holding a "Big Curry Night" in the York on behalf of the Army Benevolent Fund.

I believe there was a similar event held at the College last week!

ALL proceeds from the sale of food will go to the fund that helps service personnel and their families in times of injury or God forbid death. There will be a Balti and a Korma and a Beef Stew for the unadventurous. Starts at 7pm with the normal weekly Quiz at 9pm

On Saturday morning (15th) we are holding a table top sale on behalf of the Parachute Regiment Association. Doors open at 10.30pm and the sale is on until 2.30pm (just in time for the FA Cup Final). Monies raised from the sale will go towards the funds to keep this group going, all of whom have fought for this country (one Arnhem veteran).

If anyone have any footie stuff they want to get rid of bring it along any day up to Saturday.

Thanks to all those that supported the big curry event, we managed to raise over £250 for the ABF.
