Why do we have to lock the message board when things are being said that certain people dont like.Dont know who u are u.s.a.shrimp but do you attend many matches?Or just sit on a pedestal and lock what ever you feel fit.

wondrous thing about this board is that we have 24 hr mods which keeps the board safe and free from troll's 24 7 USA is one. So whilst you are tucked up in bed and ANOTHER TIT comes on here posting crap Aspers and USA deal with it.

I think USA Shrimp explained his reasons clearly at the end of each of the locked threads. He's not censoring the debate, but preventing the threads from becoming a chore to trawl through. I think he's expecting a similar volume of rants during the coming week as there were last week. The views can still continue, but starting at the perspective of the latest game.

I'll admit when I first came back on this evening and saw two locked threads, I thought 'wow, what happened here?' Then, I actually read what USA had written and I thought, that's fair enough...

But yes, USA does indeed sit on a pedestal locking threads whenever he feels fit... it's what the mods are asked to do.

So how did that work out then?

Sorry Keith, but I don't get it. I may well be a mere simpleton but it reads like Mr USA (not in the Schwartspicezenneggereggereggeregger sense!) didn't like what was written. The "Frightening Sammy Mac" one was an extension of what was already on the thread but brought up to date due to todays match and I simply have no idea what he's on about on the second one. If some messages are posted during the game then surely the relevance of messages after is obvious?

It took me a few moments for it to sink in what was going on but now I understand why. A bit of advance notice about the new tactics might have helped.

You might have a point there, Brian (about the advance notice). Still, at least this way everyone took notice 8-)

Once again, I locked the threads because they were done with and I wanted today's game to be discussed as a fresh topic. It was heading into being added on to the last two games' threads so I wanted to do everyone a favour (including you, Cass :) )by keeping it nice and tidy and efficient instead of having to troll through two different threads, and possibly having the same topic discussed in three threads instead of one.

Now, where's my pedestal gone ?

There are not only pedastals in trhe U.S.

Admittedly being at the underside of the Earth my pedastal
may not be as lofty as some.

But watch this
