very sad news on the eve of such an historic moment in the clubs history. my prayers are with Joe's family and friends and my thanks to him for all he did for Morecambe Football Club. We should have a minutes silence or a minutes applause tomorrow to pay our respects.

Given everyone that is happening tomorrow, I don't thinka silence would be at all appropriate. Applause will do just fine.
Some are dead and some are living. In my life, I've loved them all.

Very sad, Joe has been a part of the club for so long. His passing really marks the end of an era. Condolences to his family.
