New 'song' for Saturday

New 'song' for Saturday

Postby Crooky MFC » Thu May 06, 2010 10:09 pm

We've already mastered the Dale Cavese, so now a number of the 'singers' have found another song to sing on Saturday

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4wbGHqG ... re=related

We love you, we love you, we love you,
And that is why we'll follow, we'll follow, we'll follow,
Cos' we support the Morecambe, the Morecambe, The Morecambe,
And thats the way we like it, we like it, we like it,

oooohhhhh, ooooooooooohhhh, ooohhhh . . .

Heres how a foreign set of fans sing it, truley incredible.

The chorus of the Goldfrapp song Rocket could be very useful tomorrow with many options for our song writers:
ie
Oo-ooh We’ve got a new ground
Oo-ooh Bye bye to Christie
Oo-ooh We’re never coming back
:D :D

I'll bring my St Pauli scarf then - come on you Browns! (two promotion celebrations plus the glory-hunting Champions' League qualification to celebrate would be nice!)
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Hey Jase, I was at the Stanley v Barnet game and heard the Ultras singing a terrace version of "Anarchy in the UK". Must say I've never heard that at a football match before...

You don't listen to Morecambe fans singing too closely then. We've been singing it since sheffield.

Well i certainly haven't heard it song, maybe it's because the Stanley fans are so quiet?

It will be happening on Saturday anyway, may need a little tuning as per usual though

As much as I'd like to get it going like this.
I believe that because not everyone sings in the North Stand in any case - no problem with that - and the fact that there are alot of irregulars there today.

It will be hard to get any co-ordinated singing going.

Not that we won't try ;)

From different areas of the stand too. :D

But if we start early enough then people might just get the hang of it, just hope its not one of those occasions where a larger crowd actually results in less singing.
