I can guess what was deleted, but just for the record, the forum owner can get in a shed load of trouble if something libellous is posted. It's their responsibility, so I think they can be forgiven for being zealous. If you want freedom of speech I think the law has yet to be repealed where you can stand outside Judges Lodgings and speak freely!

I don't know what was removed, but I know it was correct to be removed. That's why there are a selection of us to try and act quickly.

I've linked to this before, so search or Google it... a couple of years ago a football fan almost lost his house to pay legal bills over something posted on a football message board, so it's not 'free speech', it can be bloody expensive.

And was it not long ago a very similar thing nearly happened at Chester ? I seem to remember the board in deep cack for slagging off the model citizen Chairman.

If anyone wants to have their say about Dave Edge or similar siutations, several techies on the forum are more than willing to help them set up their own web site where they can post whatever they like. That will also make them liable for what they post.

If anyone is still interested in opening a debate about Dave Edge, I can advise them where to set up an account and how to build a forum, no more than a few clicks and a few quid needed.

Of course, the club and Dave will be able to gather your personal details from your web site so they know where to send the legal letters.

If you're not willing to go to these lengths to have your say then you have to abide by the rules and decisions of this forum.
