Luton not being promoted.....

Luton not being promoted.....

Postby shrimper » Wed May 05, 2010 12:17 pm

... may mean that Tom Craddock would be open to a move away.

Ditto Brodie if York don't make it.

.... and I've not heard of Marc Pugh signing a new contract yet at Hereford!

Just saying, like...

Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

As the end of season 'out of contract' players are bandied about. How about Gary Teale, who has just been released by Derby, if we were to get promoted. I think we would need to strengthen in numerous areas if we were to go up, and experience of a player like this could be the difference between staying up or coming straight back down...

players who ive seen against us this year and who id like is Clayton Donaldson from Crewe he was a right hand-full for our defenders and physically even our Jimbo struggled with him and not to mention his pace and capable of playing as a lone striker in hard away fixtures

and the other is a center back from Preston who plays for Bradford called Steve Williams who stands at 6.4ft and is built like a 100meter sprinter

A couple of class speedy defenders, a ball winner in midfield(a certain
Mr Craney would be fine), a speedy winger and a proven striker would do for me.

Don't want much do I ??????

Some of the names already mentioned would be worthy of consideration.

But Sammy usually manages to pull a few surprises out of the bag, so let's wait and see. One thing I'd like to think is that with our position both on and off the field we are more of an interest to players than any time of late.

Jon Macken released by Barnsley

would be fantastic, 100 x better than Mullin, also Darren Moore, bit slow but would do a job at the back (but couldnt play alongside Jim and Moose)

Craddock is a good player... I seem to remember he almost scored goal of the season against us at Christie Park last year with a mazy run, turning Jimbo inside out!

As for Mellor... a long shot but if we got into L1?

We've got 3 ball winners at the club already (Panther, Hunter, McLachlan).
