Globe Arena pitch seeded?

Had a look at the new ground this afternoon and noticed that all bar one of the playing surface contractors specialised vehicles seem to have gone.

Looking at the pitch I could be wrong but it gave me the impression of having been seeded, lightly rolled and watered using the new sprinkler system..(and there was me loaded with my water bottles all at the ready :cry:

)

If my observations are correct then the growing period of a minimum of 10 weeks is well on schedule to being achieved.

Yes you are right cc, i saw the tractor spreading seed on Wednesday from my back bedroom window. If they dont put that roof on the side i will be able to see 2/3rds of the pitch,but fear not i will still be giving it large in the new home end next season:D
