Hi, Bury fan here.

It was most likely the Vulcan Bomber, saw it in the air over Lincoln this morning but no idear where she was going.

Good luck for the rest of the season after Saturday. Spent many a weekend with family in Heysham when I was a kid so well pleased when you entered the league.

One of our lot still runs a hotel in Morecambe some where.

Flew over my workplace in Caton too today , roughly about 1 o clock.
Was going that slow i thought it was going to fall out the sky!

Apparently that is the only one in the country that is in service.

Don't know if it was the same plane but I last saw the Vulcan doing it's last airshow here at Manston circa 93/94. It "gluided" over us with its bomb doors open at about 250' truely amazing, then it opened the engines and turned, what a sound that made...... pure magic.
pleasure to have seen it.
