I think it is excellent! Very few clubs have a genuine 'club song'.
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

this should be ours, so worthy of matching any other football anthem in the land, and puts us on the map with neutral footy fans from all over and brings em a smile :)

Song lyrics for Bring Me Sunshine

Bring me sunshine in your smile,
Bring me laughter all a while,
In this world where we live there should be more happiness,
So much joy you can give to each brand new bright tomorrow,
Make me happy through the years never bring me any tears,
Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above,
Bring me fun bring me sunshine and bring me love.

Bring me sunshine in your eyes,
Bring me rainbows from the clear blue skies,
Life's too short to be spent having anything but fun,
We can be so content if we gather little sunbeams,
Be light hearted darlin' all day long,
Keep me singing a happy song,
Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above,
Bring me fun bring me sunshine and bring me love.

Bring me sunshine in your smile,
Bring me laughter all a while,
In this world where we live there should be more happiness,
So much joy you can give to each brand new bright tomorrow,
Make me happy through the years,
Never bring me any tears,
Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above,
Bring me fun bring me sunshine and bring me love

The one the players did pre Wembley, does anyone remember that? Wembley that is!!

The song was pants, but the Christie's Theme played before matches is awesome, just listened to it on my computer. :P

Bring me sunshine could so easily be sung by Luton Town though.

Play-off song

I know it was for charity....but it was still terrible.

The one that the players come out to is class, yeah yeah yeah gotta believe me, the best team in the land it's Morecambe FC!!!!!!

I presume that there will be things happening prior to kick-off of our final league game at Christie, will you still be playing music MarkS? Not that I'm trying to meddle with your own plans, but I think it would be good to have some of the memorable tracks from recent years played as well as stuff that is current. For example, whenever I hear chumbawamba tubthumping on the radio (which is not often) it always reminds me of watching football at Christie Park. Maybe others have songs that they associate with going to a Morecambe game?

Eh? Have you got the wrong track? Christie's Theme is a belter. Easily one of the best club football songs I've ever heard.

It is still available on CD in the club shop and can be heard every match. If we don't get promotion you'll be able to get a copy next season.

P.S. Can't find it uploaded to any site anywhere unfortunately.

Great tune i have it as my ringtone , the record comes up as "Christies Theme" by a group called "Zapata".
I am surprised how many people have asked about my ring tone.

Anyone heard The Almighty version of 'Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet'?
http://woringtones.com/mp3s/a/a/a/j/z/t ... in_yet.mp3
(short sample)

When we played Ipswich at Ipswich, we went in to a pub that evening and the rock band knew we'd be there so they'd prepared a special version of 'Bring Me Sunshine' in the style of that Almighty cover. It lent itself very well to a rock style. Perhaps Zapata could come out of retirement and do a rock version?
