For those who watched last nights reserve game, they cannot have failed to have been impressed with this guy given a run out by Sammy.

Could he be one of those who wants to join us?

If so, he would give us some drive and shooting ability in mid field.

I didn't see him play, but do we really need any more central midfielders?

For me offered something that we haven't got in midfield....the abilty to have a pop from distance and excellent distribution with no shortage of vision.

But my opinion only..others may differ.

He stopped at the York last night, he seems a very decent bloke and I think he is genuinely intersted in coming to us - I wish him all the best.

Possibly a short term contract until Christmas to prove he's still got it?

General concensus from Bradford fans seems to be that he's past it and no longer good enough.

Since when should we take any notice from Bradford fans, they seem to think that we are going to get relegated, back to where we belong apparently.

We watched him last night very impressed, would like to see more of him , communicates with the team and definitely didn't look like a new member.

Watched the game last night just goes to show how opinions differ.Didnt think he stood out in 5-3 defeat.Ok had a go from some way out but well over the bar when he had players left and right of him.Reminded me a bit like andy gouk.I agree do we need any more midfielders.Must stress this is only my opinion.

..but at least he had a go. Maybe if he'd passed to somebody else they would have done the usual thing 'pass to somebody else'.

I really get annoyed when it looks as though we can have a pop but prefer to pass. Suggests to me a lack of belief in their own ability.

Look at the number of goals scored against us this season. All shots and the majority outside the box. The same with the reserves last night.

Do we not have shooting practise? This has been a failing with us for longer than I care to remember.

Could it be that the opposition close us down whereas we don't?

I prefer to judge a player by what I see on the field.

Don't get bitter just 'cause Thommo saw nothing in a move to you.

He did OK lastnight, seemed to hold his own. I just don't think he can offer anything (judging by last night's game)that the current 4 central midfielders we already have can't.

How many central midfielders do we need?
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

I think the trouble with the midfield at the moment is that their passing is like kicking a ball against a wall (Bounces back 5ft off the player).

Paul Evans seems ok in that department and can hold off opposing players like wayne can. He didn't look a flair player just somebody who could read the game well, break up the opposition play and lay a good ball off to someone.

My only concern would be his age but then again footballers do seem to be playing longer nowdays.
