cheers :D

and not only a great result, but we actually played very good passing football for 90 mins and a good all-round team performance

Hackney played well and got MOTM but id have give it to Mullin even his passing and running with the ball what he's not noted for matched his aerial ability

Best performance for a while that. Personally I thought Hackney was a bit quiet but he took hus goal well. MOTM for me was either Drummond who bossed the midfield and passed it brilliantly, or Parrish who was brilliant in defence and kept their useful left winger quiet.

If we play like that against Bradford we will win. We closed out the game so well and 3-0 looked more likely than 2-1. Brilliant results elsewhere and we have to be serious play off contenders following 4 straight wins. Also with other teams like Rotherham, Chesterfield and Bury all off the pace atm, it is looking more likely that we will finish in the play offs.

I have to applaud Sammy but it is the players recent performances and determination that has got us where we are. This has been evident against Crewe with that spirited comeback and today where we simply wanted it more than them.

UTS!

Totally agree about Parrish, he should have got M.o.M just for that tackle , an inch either side and it would have been a penalty :o . Mind you i dont think that ref was in the mood for giving penalties, though he was pretty good to us over the 90 mins.

The best referee Ive seen at Christie this season, he kept the game flowing.

Sammy said on Radio Lancs that he thinks Andy parrish will be a central defender in time. He is quick and good in the air. A big thank you must go to the Bury youth system.

It must be said he would be a very good centre back with a bigger lad, his last ditch tackles this season have been inch perfect. For me he's not effective enough going forward, better than Yates was but one just needs to look at Wilson on the other wing and a right back like him would be brilliant. Plus if Parrish became a centre back, we would have even more competition for places and Moss would get the chance I believe he has deserved
