I'm no red, but why not? United pay his wages and Sir Alex is a jock, so he wont give a damn about the world cup.

sorry neil, not with you on this one, he would not risk using the third best player in the world if he was not up to it :?:

Don't see any club v country conflict. Ferguson must be confident he's fit enough to play therefore he should start. It's too big a game for United to risk otherwise.

Yeah but they got him sent off those horrible Germans. How dare they? And how dare they fall over just because Scholes kicks them in the groin with his studs up and then hacks them from behind in the first leg, unpunished?

Hilaaaaaarious.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

It was obvious he was going to play after that Ferguson press conference. All this about not a chance etc, he was clearly over doing it.

Sir Alex Ferguson was angered by the behaviour of Bayern Munich's players as Manchester United crashed out of the Champions League on away goals.

Ferguson felt referee Nicola Rizzoli was pressured into showing United defender Rafael his second yellow card.

Ferguson said: "The young boy showed a bit of inexperience but they got him sent off, everyone sprinted towards the referee - typical Germans."

What something like this then............

Yes im the sure the ref was pressured by the 70,000 home fans many of times. Big baby, even though what he has done for united is incredible, I'm hoping he'll also be uniteds demise too.
Get over it ;)
