I think that whilst having the points on the board with so few games left is obviously advantageous, certain clubs that occupy the play-offs at the moment are stuttering over the line. Bury who looked like certainties at the turn of the year have dropped like a stone, not scoring from open play since February. They are in such poor form at the moment that I dont think they will get back into the play-offs. Who is to say the others won't falter? Rotherham, and Aldershot still have to come to fortress christie, as well as Dagenham. Whilst our run in looks tough on paper, to a certain extent because we have the clubs around us still to play, it means that we can have much more of an infuence over our final league placing.
Realistically if we are the club from the pack to catch the wobblers currently in posession Oc a play-off spot then we need to pick up dramatically on the road. With trips to Bradford, Shrewsbury and Notts County to come we could do with beating Lincoln tomorrow, which itself would be a great achievement. C'mon you Reds!
