I'm sure they can't afford him!
People were saying during the Jan transfer window that they wouldnt settle for anything less than £200,000 to £250,000 for him, and I'd still value him somehwere around those figures!

Silly season now the Hatters have a few quid from the sale of Dickinson to Derby,
but could it be true?? and if so how much of that money can we relieve them of
£250,000 min I would say in the current climate

Apparently, Stockport are also after Perkins; I doubt Rochdale would be foolish enough to let him go on the cheap........Tell me we have a sell-on fee!?

If Rochdale do sell Perkins and I think it is a big "IF" it would be a decent bit of buisness considering we sold perks to them for around £6,000 I think. Most Rochdale fans value him around £500,000 mark :o which I think is a little over the top!

That works out at £100,000 per goal at Dale. With that, we should be valuing Baker at £1.1 million!!! :D

What a load of RUBBISH

There was an article somewhere at the end of last season about how Baker is keen to keep learning under Sammy McIlroy and become a proper league player. I genuinely feel he is happy at Morecambe too.

Anyway, in January didn't our vice chairman say if anyone wanted Carl they'd have to have very very deep pockets?

I hear Barcelona don't want Ronaldinho anymore, let Stockport bid for him.

To be fair its not necessarily rubbish, Stockport do have money to spend and its more than likely that they would be interested in Carl after the two goals he scored against them in October.

Call me cynical but there's been plenty of cases where a player goes on record stating how happy he his only to then leave.

I'm not saying that's the case with Carl, certainly hope not anyway, but i would not take anything for granted.

I'm pretty sure the only way Carl would leave is IF they did come in with a really big offer around what has been mentioned, IF Carl wanted to leave this early in his contract and IF the club wanted to let him go for that amount. Three pretty big IFs I reckon.

Might just be them saying they'd like him and then a load of web gossip. We know what their manager tought of him after he destroyed them at our place.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

I spoke to carl just after he got back from Barcalona and he said he was looking forward to the new season with Morecambe so the only way he will be going to Stockport is if they put a bid in for him that is too good to turn down
