At the previous home match against Grimsby the Duke Of Lancaster Regiment were in attendance to promote awareness as well as collect for the Help For Heroes charity.
Bearing in mind that the attendance for that match was 1,882, a fantastic £1,710 was raised on the day. I understand that this was one of the biggest sums raised in League 2 from one of the smallest crowds.
Well done to everyone who put some change (or notes) in the buckets!
