Highly unlikely, but wonder if there has been a bit of bridge-building between Sammy, Jim and the club during these moves?

Personally I'd like to think so.

CC Come on Danny was the fall guy of Morecambe if the performances were wrong i was thinking maybe stronger teams would go for them both.Especially Michael because it was only recently Walsall were linked with him and he turned down a move to Bury.

Both couldn't sign for League clubs. Only Conf Nat sides in the North West are Alty and Barrow, so really not such a shock to go to the nearest Conf North club to their homes.

I did not realise that Posh.

I remember Charlton letting go off players mid season and them signing for other teams in same season oh well.

Good luck Michael and Danny are the contracts untill end of the season only.

Twiss, 32, arrives at Bower Fold having been released by Coca-Cola League Two promotion-hopefuls Morecambe.

He made 202 appearances for the Shrimpers, scoring fifty-three goals. His previous clubs include Chester City, Leigh RMI and Port Vale.

OMG when will they learn :?:

Keeling really is he still going?

Am I right in thinking he was the winger that played for us years ago.

Best of luck to them both, and all the other Ex morecambe players and Jim there.

I really hope Christie Child is right and there are some bridges being built.

Its seems everyone has some good memorises of Twissy and all the other ex Shrimps at stalybridge.

In fact how good would it to be to play them as the first game at the new Stadium. Get some of the old boys back, and Jim himself who arguable started the rise.
