Westgate - more photos

Postby Mike W. » Tue Mar 02, 2010 12:30 am

See http://www.globearena.co.uk for the latest batch of pics taken Monday afternoon down at the new place, showing the cladding work for the Main and Home Stands well advanced, plus a lot of work within the Main Stand on walls. Work has also started on clearing the mounds of earth near the Westgate entrance, and the facilities block for the Northern side and the Community Block are both getting their ground floors.

The front walls for the sponsors' boxes in the Main Stand are also now in.

Posting at 12:30 AM ? Don't you lads in the construction industry have to be up bright and early ? :o :o :o

Thanks, as ever, for the updated photos. Being unable to check out the progress in person is being made easier by your constant attention to keeping the site updated. I truly appreciate your efforts.

No doubt Mike will take some shots as and when work starts on the pitch which is scheduled to start soon, if work hasn't already started.

Excellent as always.

Cheeky barsteward!

Do you think something as little as that will stop me.

Maybe it's be done deliberately to get rid of me....

Anyhow, how do you know that I'll not be going through the main entrance next season along with all the other occupiers of a sponsors box... ;) ;) ;)
