Winters on loan to Vauxhall Motors

Blue Square North strugglers Vauxhall Motors have signed young defender Rory Winters on a month`s loan from Coca-Cola League Two side Morecambe.

Winters, 20, had a spell on loan with UniBond League Premier Division Kendal Town earlier this season.

Originally with Oldham Athletic, Winters has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Shrimps, whose manager Sammy McIlroy said: "Vauxhall Motors play at a good level and the experience will be good for Rory. He will learn a lot from it.''

Good news there. Winters did well pre season and the Kendal fans were very impressed by him. Maybe he'll be one for the future.

Yeah some of my friends that watch Kendal Town , were impressed with Rory i believe he could make first team opportunities next season , does look like a very good young and hungry center half.

he should do well for them maybe try and help them get away from the bottom of the table. good move.
