Phoenix Nights - funny
Max and Paddy - pretty good

but when will Peter Kay learn that his stand-up is sh!te - if your going to keep doing it, at least get some new material..... saying "ooh i'm northern" and "garlic bread" wasn't really funny the first time - it certainly isn't now!

Only funny bit so far has been reference to GaGa's knoblet.

He was presenting a music pop show, he didn't need to be funny tonight did he?

what i was getting at was half his material was recycled from his stand-up shows or his dire references to 'northerness'. Most of his stand-up shows are repeated from his previous shows... not cut-out for stand-up me thinks - stick to the tv series.

I think Peter Kay is rather like Eric Morecambe, in the fact you only have to see his face and you are smiling or laughing.

Like the garlic bread jokes, and references to being northern. I still find them funny after the 20th time just as I find Eric's remarks about Andre Previn, ice cream vans, and his 'stripper' sketch still funny after the 120th time.

I thought he did a great job, best presenter they've had in a long, long time.

I thought he was funny too, and any comedian that can sell out 20+ nights at the MEN Arena has to be funny.

Although it has to be said the funniest act last night was Cheryl Coles miming!!
