...just hope that location doesn't affect gates.
Always looks to me as though a lot of fans walk from the central area....or is it that they all are in the York prior to the game![]()

For the record on some of the gate stats
At this stage of the season we have played 15 home league matches and combined attendance is 32731
at this stage in 08/09 after 15 home league games it was 29761
last season we only got 2044 for the accy game
this season we got 3478 due t the fact it was boxing day
last season our first and last game attendances were in the top 3 games all season only topped by the good friday bradford game
this season we have beaten that we had had three games with 3000+ attendances(County Bradford and Accy) and we have the historic last match to come as well as Crewe on good friday a traditionally good attendance day and Rotherham if theyre up there should bring a crowd on 10th April
so although youre right about the economic downturn were not doing too badly overall and the match posters campaign has helped too

(The ‘carvery’ idea might get more people going as couples or families, rather than one going and the rest doing something else.)
