Thanks a great listen

Out of intrest did anyone pick up one of the leaflets and what type of info does it have on? Does it have prices on for things like the sponsors lounge or hire of the 5 a side pitches etc

The most important statement came from Globe themselves 'we are not going to fail with our name on it'....that indicates that the Globe Arena will be a venue of true quality as it will become the regional flag ship for the company as it increases its exposure within the area.

Too many new builds loose their quality in a short period of time. I can't see Globe allowing that to happen.

I also believe that the 'open terrace' will become a covered stand in the not too distant future as it is my understanding that the club should be able to make use of grants to fund the build as other clubs have done.

This initial mini-brochure doesn't have prices because the club hasn't finalised absolutely all of them yet.

The idea of this first one is to get the message out there and promote the various function and conferencing facilities that will be available and to get people enquiring and making bookings NOW so that there is income coming in as soon the Globe Arena opens.

Obviously 'stock' images have been used because the rooms are not kitted out yet. But the club would have been silly to wait for the place to be ready (so they could get photos of the actual rooms) before promoting what 'will' be available.

There will be another leaflet soon giving info about pitch-hire etc (again so people can start making enquiries now and booking the facilities prior to them opening) and then the club will probably bring out a more comprehensive brochure with everything in, hospitality package prices etc and images of the actual facilities, as soon as they can after it opens.

The club, in recent months, has really been looking at marketing itself better than ever - which is what many people on here have been saying they should do for a long time.
