FAO North Standers

FAO North Standers

Postby Crooky MFC » Sun Feb 07, 2010 2:16 pm

We have 9 or so games left at Christie Park, so we need to start thinking about doing something for the Aldershot game. Fancy dress, maybe beach wear which was great fun at MK Dons a few seasons ago (flowery shorts, flip flops, morecambe shirt etc etc). Another option would be to create a sea of red, this could be advertised on the official website? (Everyone turns up in there Morecambe shirts, bringing scalfs, flags etc etc) This will of course be a sell out, apart from the away end.

For the remainder of the season, everyone bring there Morecambe scarves? It adds more colour and also looks great.

Why wouldn't it be a sell out? Who would really want to miss the last ever game at Christie Park. Ok, Aldershot aren't going to sell there allocation but apart from that, it will be packed.

If I didn't know that was tongue in cheek, I'd accuse you of trying to start the third world war!

yeah it should be a sell out for the last game. I think more Aldershot fans will come as well with it being the last match at CP because it's an 'I was there' sort of game.

The shots might also need something from the game to reach the play offs

Me and Mrs Lion won't be wearing 'beach wear' at the Darlo or Burton games....sheeeeish Perish the thought. More likely to be polar bear suits!
