Accrington pre-match recommendations...???

Accrington pre-match recommendations...???

Postby John L » Thu Feb 04, 2010 4:41 pm

Hoping to get to Accy for dinner on Saturday and to watch the Merseyside derby. Sounds like the Crown would be a good place to watch the scousers but do they serve grub and if not, who does?

I believe there is a burger eating challenge at around midday at McDonalds! Alternatively there is a chippy 5 mins from the ground towards the town centre.
There is also a decent Brewers Fayre type pub about 10 mins walk up the road from the Crown ~ sorry can't remember its name ;)
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Oaklea is the pub you want for eating. Opens around 12 and away fans are welcome. Good grub at a good price.

Crown for banter! From 12. And if you stay long enough, Coley will be in bout 6/7ish
