New signing

New signing

Postby harrys dad » Thu Feb 04, 2010 9:48 am

Hello everyone, I have just moved up from Kidderminster to Morecambe. I am a great believer in watching/suuporting your local team so went to my first game last Saturday (apart from my many previous enjoyable visits here to support Kidderminster Harriers). I have to say that the really poor display made me feel quite at home. I recognised Curtis, Drummond and Twiss from earlier games, and have to say that only Drummond looked up to it although I sympathised with Curtis being played out of position (why on earth is he on the left wing?)

I hope to become a regular at Christy Park (and the new ground) and in a couple of years will also bring a new fan when my grandson is a bit older (and before his other grandpa takes him to Liverpool).

One thing I have noticed, even after such a poor performance, is how positive most of the posts are on here, long may it continue.

Morning Harrys Dad. You obviously know how to get everyone's attention with the heading for your post. I presume you are referring to yourself as the "New Signing". A good way to introduce yourself but if you continue with such "headlines" you will upset the natives and you will soon see the dark side of the board!
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Welcome

Is Michael Carr still at Kiddy and how did he do/is doing for them?

Comments about attention grabbing headlines noted! As for Michael Carr he left Harriers last season having barely featured. There is some talk however that he might be back soon as the new manager Steve Burr was his manager at Northwich and seemed to be able to get the best out of him.
