Sammy also played for City Neil.
That's where our management team first met.

I hope they get the book thrown at them for the disgraceful behaviour of the fans. Coins & bottles of beer being thrown at Bellamy. Great advert for British football. Well done feckwits!

I hope you mean some of the fans. and by they you mean the fans and not just Man utd. (although United will also get a fine) because otherwise you are labeling all Manchester United fans with the same brush!

As for the game, I dont think i ve seen a more entertaining Carling cup tie. and i actually think that both semi finals will only improve the competition in future years! it is no longer seen as a Micky mouse competition (certainly not towards the later stages). I actually thought, apart from the minimal crowd trouble, which has not been condoned by United and by Sky at the time, this was a great advert for the competition!

I had to dash out to a meeting and left when it was 2-0 to United.
Watched the replay later and how exciting was it.
Bloody idiots for chucking the coins, don't need that in football.
I remember someone chucking a dart at Joe Corrigan once. Bloody idiots

CC. Was there any need to write this thread? Had City won the tie, I certainly wouldn't of come on here bleating about it!

There's very little point to most of CC's threads ;)

But you could of if you'd wanted and people could then choose whether or not to reply to you.

So how did that work out then?

Seeing the arrogant Man Utd fans being interviewed after the match made me realise how much I wanted even Chelsea to win the Premier League !!

Was CC like the Scarlet Pimpernel or the Invisible Man yesterday at the game?
He was in his seat, then he wasn't, then he was back in his seat, then he wasn't, then he had disappeared altogether, or maybe I was looking at a different person.
Was it anything to do with the excitable commentator from Chesterfield behind him??

Sky always pick the fans with the best soundbites. There'd have been equally arrogant City fans if they'd won.

.......let's just say that a pit stop was necessary to relieve myself listening to all the crap coming out of that commentator's mouth. ;)

Thankfully the new Stadium will segregate the additional press corps from spectators...hopefully!

Funny that most people on this board hate anything to do with Manchester United, but then steal all the chants to sing at Christie. Top work.

By "steal" you are indicating ownership of some sort.

Is that further arrogance? I think so.
