Don't see how Drummond can be dropped. And as we saw yesterday Twiss does not perform on the left wing!!
so I would go with:
Roche
Parrish Haining Artell Wilson
Duffy Drummond Stanley Curtis
Twiss
Jevons
Coates Pearson Street Baldwin Bennett Sutton Done Roberts Kershaw Webber Richmond Galley - Shrimps '74 Legends

The reason why Barnet were allowed to run at our defence yesterday , was because there was nobody in midfield breaking up play , Stanley does a lot of running but doesn't put the hard tackles in .We need the mighty atom in there. Totally agree about Drummy , he scores too many goals from midfield and Panther needs more than 10 mins .

..................Roache ...................

Parrish..... Haining.... Bents/Arts.......Wilson

Stanley...... Hunter....Drummy........Curtis

......................Twissy.................

......................Jevons..................

Panther for Stanley in second half .

P.S. Question Who is the calmest Haining or Panther. ;)

Parrish...........Haining........Artell.........Adams

Duffy............Hunter.........Drummond.....Wilson

Its probably a bit to soon to start with Panther, 20 or 30 minutes in the second half depending on the score with a view to starting against Chesterfield.

I'd be surprised (injuries aside) if it's not:

Roche

Parrish Haining Artell Wilson

Hunter Panther Drummond Twiss

Curtis Jevons.

Stanners may keep his place, giving Panther another week to get back up to speed by coming on in the second half. But he looked so good when came on on Saturday (kept possession and steadied the ship) that I think he may get the nod.

If Mullin wasn't fit for Saturday I don't think he'll start tomorrow, given that Curtis played so well (why risk it?).

If Sammy thinks Twissy's head's not on playing out left then I suppose he may go with Duffy out left or Adams retaining his place and Wilson in midfield but I'll go with the above as my guess.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

I agree with you but Im not holding my breath on this one.

I remember talking to Joe Wojiecovic and he said he liked 3 diggers and 1 pretty player in midfield.

I prefer 3 pretty players and 1 digger and the digger would be Panther or Hunter but not both.

yeah i know what your saying, although what ive seen of Panther he looks a versatile player who would be capable of playing in any midfield role

id give him a go on the left side of midfield he did score with his left foot against us for Exeter and the last time i seen him play for us Panther and Wilson linked up well and played some good one twos

that would be another option so you could then play Twiss with Jevons

Same as Saturday except Wilson in for Adams to give us that added attacking dimension and extra pace. Mullin, Panther and Hunter all on the subs bench (all coming back from injury and need match fitness to be fully ready for Div 2 football). Let them all start for the reserves on Wednesday.

May well be a powerful reserve team on Wednesday with the above 3 possibly starting along with Bents and Grizzly.
