I'm interested. It shows the relative interest in the FA Cup as a tournament. It used to be said that a 'good cup run' built up the coffers, yet if you're only going to get 1,300 for a home 3rd FA Cup tie it is questionable whether Accy even break even on a crowd like that once other costs are factored. To think we managed to get just short of that attendance for a GLS Cup quarter-final, probably the most meaningless and tinpot of competitions ever created, against Carlisle Utd in the Conference.
Even worse, relatively speaking, was the 5,335 for Wigan v Hull in the 3rd Round.
