Thankfully I've never been through that although I have heard some Radio Lancs rants from Stan Ternant and Steve Cotterill that were pretty harsh.

Shame though, after making a good point, that Savage ended up sounding like....
"The fans will have to get used to the fact that Derby are only here to make up the numbers"

I'm not so sure either the radio reporter or Savage comes out of this smelling of roses. I do sympathise with Savage though (oddly, as he is a grade A cake taker). Having lived in Derby for a short period I can safely say I have never met more of a collective bunch of fans that live on a different planet. They think they should be pushing for Europe, not losing to Scunny. You kind of get a slight impression from the reporter in the interview "28,000 turning up week in week out". They are like Newcastle but on a smaller scale. It must really rile them to see the tricky trees flying high. Worst team in history. You REEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDSSSSSSSSS!
