I wonder if this system could be adapted to warm the pitch and supply hot water?

Manchester & Liverpool Airports closed, Therlwall Viaduct down to two lanes in both directions, M6 Toll Road closed.

Be careful out there folks.

Wishfull thinking I would have thought, although I have heard this mentioned before.

Surely the cost is prohibative?

Much cheaper would be covers as I've discussed before.

Blackpool have hired a recently purchased set of ground covers from Fleetwood who reckon the outlay of £15K has been money well spent.

Should be on, the forecast is for -3 tonight but after that it is not supposed to drop below 0 degrees for the rest of the week and between 2 to 3 degree's during the day. Light snow shower forecast for Thursday but apart from that mostly sunshine.

Wow! Never even knew Audi did central heating!
FFS Keith, DO YOU EVER THINK ANYTHING THROUGH PROPERLY?
It's bad enough with all the transfer window rumours, the rubbish from batfudians on a regular
basis, CC's O/T 12 monthly Advent calender ( a new O/T every day )........
Now imagine the tidying up of board you'll have to do each day with a sticky thread
devoted to thermal crop circles growing on the pitch!

CC asking you every day if its a sign from God about a new transfer, or which film's worth
watching ATM, or does anyone know of a local snow shoveler with reasonable rates?

If Audi fit this new fangled stadium central heating system, you've only got yourself to blame!

Met office reporting -6 overnight tonight. No way a couple of days after that at 1 or 2 degrees will thaw out the pitch, especially if that snow freezes solid like it did on my car overnight last night.

had a bit more snow this morning and weather reports say we could have some more tommorow as well so for the game it's not looking to good. But the sun has come out now so all is not lost.

The sun is going to make SFA of difference to the couple of inches on the pitch.

Depends if the forecast is accurate, yesterday it said it would be at 0 tonight now they have changed it to -6, if the forecast can change that much in a few hours then anything is possible. This is from the people who forecast a good summer and a mild winter

I don't think we'll avoid a home abandonment this time.....

But.....the snow may actually be acting as insulation against the harsh frost expected tonight, protecting the pitch underneath. The sun is out now. If it is set fair for the rest of the week there might be an outside chance of getting a game on.

We could do with another game to get called off to be honest and get some players back fit. Assuming Sammy is unsuccessful in reducing our squad to make room for another striker, Aaron Taylor is the second best we currently have available. Without being overly harsh on the lad, he clearly isn't good enough at the moment.
