Its a big step up from the level he is playing at now to Division 2. For him to go to Leeds or a Championship or Premeiership club would be a massive leap. After all he is 20 and the majority of players whom are going to make it at that level are already playing in a much higher league than he is now

1500 more regulars thru't turnstiles would be the best signing.
It can be done.
Promotion'll be in the bag then.
Buy one, and get the next match free (printed on the ticket).
If they're interested they'll turn up for at least 2 games.
Minimum risk, with lots to gain.
With them extra bums on seats as the 12the player, the rhythm will beat..
Make the last few games at Crusty something to remember.

Don't think any club would risk handing him a contract he would prob go on trail for a couple of weeks get a few reserve games in so they can see what he is all about.

According to Lancs Evening Post yesterday "Morecambe Bury and Crewe have joined the race to sign Jordan Connerton".

Another player being linked to sign for us is Paul Scott from Bury.

we may need a center forward as aparantly against Rochdale we was mixing it with them, but did'nt have that cutting edge in finishing with Jevons(back injury) out and god knows with back problems they can be very tricky

although Wilson & Hunter only have suspensions and i think Artell & Mullin have only had knocks but

McStay
Wainwright
Fraser Mclachlan

are going to be out for the best part of the season

Deal could now be in doubt following the departure of the Motherwell manager.

The LEP article http://www.lep.co.uk/nonleague-football ... 5935629.jp suggests that they offered £10K but this fell below City's valuation.

Other clubs are interested but may not be prepared to match what City want. As we are reported to be interested the added bonus of being local could be in our favour assuming that Sammy is interested.

Connerton sounds like a player with potential and just the type that Mark Lillis could turn into a valuable asset.

Remember last season Sammy was chasing a young striker from Retford who was scoring goals for fun.

I don't think a :P is appropriate...more like a :( if true.

Any GOOD news you wish to share :?:

...possibly more weight now in the loan of Paul Scott from Bury rumour :?:

That is a big blow. Gary has been excellent recently. MoM for me at Dale.

Can't recall a season when we've been so badly affected with injuries, and yet we're still in with a shout of the play offs.

Incredible!

The news goes from bad to worse !.
Shame for garry as he was probably playing as well as he has ever has . Certainly a contender for player of the year
