AQnyone know where is good to go bearing in mind can't make it to Rochdale untill 2PM so it would have to be close to the ground

Well if its take away you want there is a brilliant Chip shop right outside the away stand.

Dale fan in peace.

There are several McDonalds in town - the obvious one to use is on the motorway junction as you approach Rochdale. Instead of taking the left fork at the end of the A627M just go across into the Sandbrook retail park.

The Ratcliffe bar in the clubs car park and the Studds bar under one of the home stands allow away fans. The Church Inn just up from the away stand is fine but doesn't serve grub. The chippy opposite the away stand has an excellent reputation. The Cemetry hotel about half a mile from ground coming from the motorway is a real ale pub with good grub.

Safe journey. Try and get here a bit early as the roads are still full of snow.
