Some changes may be enforced due to injury.

What do the fans think.

Bentley and Panther in maybe ?

Jimbo in for whom?

Panther nowhere near match ready I would have thought and if he was, in place of whom?

am with CC on this one although we may have to shuffle things about on the forward line

back four the same

midfield more or less the same and if Mullin is not 100% fit id rest him for Curtis with Wanynaldo as the main taget man and play 4 3 3 come 4 5 1

Roach
Parrish Haining Artell Wilson
Hunter Drummond Stanley
Duffy Curtis Twiss

ill be happy with a point but still hope we attack Rochdale

I'm going but I really hope the games off and rearranged for the New Year. By that time their main strikers may well have gone, O'Grady back to Oldham and Dagnall sold in January. Also ideally we probably need a little longer to regroup after yesterdays physical battle.

If the game is on and Mullin and Jevons are out then maybe go back to a 5-4-1, just for this game, bringing Jimbo back in and with Twiss/Drummond/Stanley/Hunter across the middle and Waynaldo up top.

.....oh please No No No!

We'll get nowhere with that system other than giving Rochdale too much respect and invite them to come onto us.

Take the fight to them. Let them worry about us.

I was only opening a thread !

We have just had 2 games where our standards have fallen from the previous good run.

Panther and Bentley are players who if you were selecting a team from all the players at the club would be in or near a lot of fans selected first elevens. Panther is on loan from a club in league 1 and I imagine there will be quite a high cost.

Anyway we only have to wait till tomorrow to find out who Sammy has selected.

one positive from the Accrington game like in boxing terms they could prove ideal sparring partners and perfect preparation for the Rochdale game

It's a no brainer. Bentley in for Artell who had an absolute shocker yesterday.

One bad game after a run of great games and you'd drop him for someone who hasn't played a full game of football in ages against the team who are top of the league?

"no brainer" AKA "knee jerk reaction"?

4 5 1 for me pack the midfield and try to stop rochdale playing there free flowing football - if i remember rightly we did that last season and came away with a creditable draw due to last minute twissy equalizer

incidentally, I'm not saying Jimbo shouldn't be back in the team, simply that it isn't as straight forward as the "no brainer" preface suggests.
