Warning re conditions around the ground

Before I settle down to go to sleep, I've been sent a warning regarding the conditions around Christie Park in general...

Overnight it hasn’t dropped below freezing and a lot of roads and pavements are clearing which gives the impression everything’s fine. There are still some less used streets around Christie Park that are treacherous which I learned when I went flat on my arse earlier. The rising temperatures and light rain have cleared all the snow but where there is anything left on the ground, it is solid ice. The far end of Christie Avenue and streets around Lathom & Burlington should be treated with care.

Let's be careful out there!

Alarm set for 2pm, I hope I awake to good news 8-)

So how did that work out then?
