Football League Show...

"Lots of Morecambe fans getting in touch despite their game with Accrington being called off".

Didn't bother to actually say what those fans were saying about our postponed match :? :? :?
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Well, I'll try and explain it...

The title, Football League Show.

That's a reference to a BBC football programme that gets shown on Saturday nights.

"Lots of Morecambe fans getting in touch despite their game with Accrington being called off".

That's a quote, as indicated by the quotation marks. The quote was taken from the aforementioned TV programme. As someone else mentioned, you weren't the only one confused, the presenter was a bit confused too!

It would have been interesting to hear WHY there were "lots of Morecambe fans getting in touch"!
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

Probably because they we worried that the Boxing Day fixture had been called off already.

Read your post back Mr Smart Arse.

You quoted the BBC as reporting the Morecambe v Accrington Game as being off. You did not really qualify the fact that it had not been called off and that they had got it wrong.

With it being a big match that provides a lot of revenue for the club, I was concerned that the BBC had said it in the first place and that you had reported this without giving the correction. Clearly heysham_mfc thought from YOUR post that it had been called off.

Just because you are a bit clever doesnt mean all the rest of us are thick

You should get onto the Football League Show Keith. What were Tony Livesey's word's Mark? Anorak who needed to get a life? We could do with another one of them, and some more air time

Only joking of course.
