O/T Take That and Water Sculptures

O/T Take That and Water Sculptures

Postby Christies Child » Sun Dec 20, 2009 3:10 pm

Anybody who watched the Take That concert on TV last night will have noticed the spray water feature in a couple of numbers.

I understand that it was devised and created by former club sponsor Water Sculptures of Lancaster and was believed to have been the result of a band member being aware of the company when he lived at Leck near Kirkby Lonsdale.

Mark Owen used to live at Leck. I heard that he often used to play Sunday League football for Kirkby Lonsdale.

...just goes to show that I don't know everything!

How about an illuminated water feature at the entry of the approach road to the new Stadium or even in the Reception Hall in the stadium itself. Would certainly be unique. :?: :?: :?:

I think money would be better spent on players, or a roof than on a water sculpture

Everyone on here 100% agree's that a water sculpture would be better money spent than a roof!
Who needs a roof if you don't have a water sculpture, the whole concept is just madness.

I think it would be a fantastic idea! Some kind of sculpture like Tom Finney at PNE?
