Stadium update Friday 18 Dec

Another set of excellent photographs from the lens of Mike.

However if you take a look at those relating to the Community Block it looks to me as though as and when that area is completed ie Covered Stand as originally intended, that the Community block will take up an area of the original stand meaning that the covered stand area will not be the entire length of the field. Not a major problem but one that has no doubt come about due to the need to reduce costs.

Otherwise the Stadium is quickly taking shape and good to see the beginnings of the Home End taking shape.

The East end of the stand still has some steelwork to go out and the plans show it being the length of the pitch.

I dont think anything will have been cut back from the main stand as nothing could be done to rectify that in the future.

As far as I can see the only cutback is to the cover from the terrace opposite the main stand.

The Community Block is opposite to the Main Stand (top right as you face the main stand from the front) and is the area that I am relating to. Take a look at the revised Ground Plan and you will see what I mean.
