Still 1-1 but they are on top - Duffy on for Stanners who doesn't seem happy at being at being pulled!

The cold must have got the live commentary typist halucinating for their 'first goal' - it's just been on SSN that it's 1 - 1 now after Paul Mullins took the lead for Morecambe against the run of play. Bitter freezing cold. Come on u Shrimps!!!

sat on the ferry, got my mobile broadband working! :D Not sure how far out to sea it will last :?

Not a great game, slippy conditions, Grimsby 'up for it' and in my opinion, better than their position suggests. We didn't play well though, with a lot of passes going astray. Their equaliser was a cracker, no shame in conceding that one. Morecambe MotM Barry, who made three top draw saves. Outfield? The central defence were strong but otherwise, everyone was below recent par. Still, a good point when not playing particularly well, is a good point.

Very friendly stewards etc at Grimsby, but bloody cold!

So how did that work out then?

Yes it was brass monkeys. The game couldn't start till they cleared the dead Yetis off the pitch. I was looking forward to having a warm in that little bar under the away end at half time. Got in there to find all the heating off  Still there was ice cold lager on tap which seemed to be going down very well with the Santas.

Decided we'd have a Bovril on the way back to the seats but that had sold out  Well there was a massive away following. Plumped for the delicious cup a soup at £1.50p per plastic cup full. Must have been a mark up of about 1500% :o

Still a point stolen which may turn out to be useful as I really can see Grimsby shocking a few in the weeks to come, now their new manager seems to have them back on track.
