I'll be watching only live 10minutes walk from stadium it looks massive im not sure about car parking for home fans-away fans but looks good stadium 6,000.

Only problem with new stadium is Mmorecambe average attendance is 2,000 this season where next season the stadium will be 6,000 and Morecambe owners would need the stadium to be quite full to make the money back.

Isn't 6,000 the minimum League requirement? Christie Park is just above that limit.

That apart, you can't build a stadium to the current average attendance - there has to be leeway for progression and the odd big game.

As for the money aspect, the reason the club are making the move is to provide facilities that generate income. This would help the club progress without relying heavily on gate receipts (naturally there is still the need to get more through the turnstiles to keep that extra cash coming and improve the matchday atmosphere).

Martin of course they have to have a updated stadium and this is good.
If Morecambe want more fans to go next season they should look at reducing season ticket's £260 season ticket thats alot , compared to Blackburn rovers £200 and premiership im looking at and saving up for a season ticket for next season hope Morecambe dont increased the prices think £200 is a good price for Morecambe.

Yeah, but how can you justify such a reduction in prices when we're in League 1 next season? ;) :D
