New Regional Football League Show Starts 18th January

New Regional Football League Show Starts 18th January

Postby marky No.1 » Thu Dec 10, 2009 2:08 pm

"Late Kick Off" will be a Monday night regional programme for all divisions and will be more than just highlights. I presume we will feature in the North West version with about 8 other Clubs?

Pity we are'nt in Cumbria on this occasion :?

"Good news for fans who'll get to see more of their local teams on TV but in a way they may not have seen them before" :o

"We will be going behind the scenes at the Clubs giving an insight into what really goes on, with access to players, managers and backroom staff

I bet they are all looking forward to their new found fame

Will the cameras come to the old or the new I wonder

I think Carlisle will be in with Darlington & Newcastle, possibly even Leeds.

So how did that work out then?

If it follows the BBC regions, then Carlisle will be with Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool and Darlington.

Not sure about Thursday night, but on Friday night it was "Kick Off" hosted by Elton Welsby. Also hosted by Gerald Sinstadt in the early days.

Does that mean we are out of the closet!?

The reason I was bringing up the Carlisle/Cumbria thing was that if you read the "quote" it implies that each area will have seperate shows apart from "the combined South, West and South West"

The programme will go out in the North West, North East, Cumbria, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire,West and East Midlands, The East, London and South East and the combined South, West and South West"

I.M.O. Carlisle will be in the North West slot but could well find itself in North East. Can't see them doing a Cumbria show unless Barrow beat Sunderland
