It's all right laughing at that clip but I'm guessing you didn't hear what happened the week after when he did the routine again except, at the end, he attempted to head-butt a teenage cheerleader who was sent sprawling and knocked half unconscious.
He then toppled on top of her and impaled the inflatable mascot costume on her baton causing it to deflate..
.. he let himself down, he let the team down.....etc
