Come on we just need Aldershot, Shrews & Bury to loose and we will be in touching distance of the playoffs.

We'd be ONE point outside the play offs if results stay as they are.

Bury scored on 45mins so are 2 points ahead of us at the moment

If results went our way I think we could be joint 7th if I have worked it out right.

...so how the hell did the Rotherham manager get Manager of the Month? (not that i'm worried as it's often the 'kiss of death')

A solid defensive performance today, a tactically thought out away match game plan.

Scored straight away which can sometimes be a bit of a curse, and then Dave Artell forced a cracking save from Barry after a nightmare backheader. Then a great goal on the break and we just sat back and absorbed the pressure that came our way.

They were a good passing side till they got near the goal, then they lost their composure. Couple of great saves from barry in the second half but a really gutsy performance from the lads.

A really mature display from the lads I think, never over committing but always threatening on the break.

onward and upwards!!

We now seem to have the confidence to defend a lead which just wasn't there earlier in the season. Second half today we sat back a little and to be honest Vale were reduced to shots from outside the box which usually went well wide or presented Barry with straightforward saves.

Barry did produce a top notch save in the first half from Dave Artells misplaced back header. It was destined for the bottom corner before a superb save from a diving Roachy. That would have been 1-1 and could well have been a totally different game after.

Hope the fans turn out in force against a very good Bournemouth team next Saturday because the lads really deserve our best support at the moment the way they are performing!.

Sat 14th Nov
Port Vale 1 Rotherham 2
Crewe 1 Morecambe 2

Sat 21st Nov
Torquay 0 Rotherham 2
Morecambe 1 Cheltenham 0

Tue 24th Nov
Rotherham 2 Lincoln 0
Darlington 0 Morecambe 4

Not much in it on League Two matches. Possibly,if you looked at the relative positions when the games were played, Rotherham's were tougher? Do cup games come in to it if the league matches can't split the teams? They won one, drew one in the FA Cup, both to lower league teams, we drew one, lost one to a higher league team.

Either way, they've played two without winning in December!

Let's hope so, BUT games on a Saturday leading up to Christmas are usually poorly attended due to Christmas shopping.

I don't think it'l be that many, love to eat my words tho. There is definately a buzz around the club and we should do everything we can to let more people know we're on such a run and get them down to watch.
Get over it ;)

Just seen the highlights on BBC, Dave "Moose" Artell seriously tests our clean sheet record with a bullet header that Roche kept out somehow!

Steve Claridge gives us the kiss of death.

Very good advice young man, ;) ;) . No excuses for next Saturday , even if you dont like shopping on -line , get your arse out of bed and take wife shopping in morning or just give her your credit card. :o :o :o . After this recent run of form the players deserve some support from the townfolk. Plus we owe these lot one , for that nightmare last game , hope we can reverse the score. ;)

Very enjoyable day out as usual :D My ears are still hurting from Mr. Statto sitting behind me, just a shame he did'nt know that Gordon Banks played for Stoke

The Police were well prepared for the surge as we arrived
