....and Man Utd on the telly. Certainly expect the gate to be significantly higher for the next home game against high-flying Bournemouth. 8-)

united on sky, lousy weather, our fickle fans, you yes you need to bring someone you know has been to a morecambe game in the past, and attendances will rocket.Quality of football tonight astounding in those conditions. They looked good for an hour then fell apart with sodyou shouting at goal keeper towards the end

Hmmm, always looks alot more than there actually is. I'd guess at a VERY dissapointing 1400 MFC Fans, still, we know how fickle some are ;-) Much better against Bournemouth like you said.

Tonights conditions:

.... were appalling, even bordering on dangerous toward the end of the second half, but the players were undetered and put on a great performance. I was amazed at how well the pitch held up, considering. Let's hope the new stadium pitch does as well. I see Stockports' game was postponed again due to water-logged pitch.

Well done to Sammy for making better use of the subs.

Great game! Fantastic result!! Bring on the next opponents!!

I don't blame anyone not turning out last night - it was a stinker of a night. Wind and rain blowing up past the first and second barriers on the North Stand.

Well done to the Football League for arranging midweek fixtures in November and December when the weather is likely to be foul. Why can't we have more in August/September when it might actually be pleasant to watch a game of football in the evening?

Or why was it that the match couldn't have been played last Saturday when both clubs wanted to, with at least 10 days notice? What was the problem really?

According to Sammy in a pre match radio interview, Bury refused!

If that is true then I can only assume they felt they needed more time to prepare to play the mighty Morecambe! 8-) obviously no amount of preparation is good enough at the moment with the form we are currently in! :D

The weather was awful last night and it isn't due to improve.

The game against Port Vale must be at risk this Saturday, their youth cup match has been postponed tonight because of the condition of the vale park pitch and the forecast for there is light rain tomorrow followed by heavy rain on Friday and Saturday.
