Depending on results, I think we could have won that one

Yes, if it had been the result Everton 0 Morecambe 2 but there again if it had been the result Everton 4 Morecambe 1, we'd have lost it. :?

We couldn't have beaten Man Utd at Christie if we'd lost 4-1 to Everton, that's just silly!

Yeah, but Dave was depending on the 2-0 win and if we depend on 1-4 we could depend on Everton being thrown out for fielding an ineligable player so it's not as plain silly as you might imagine.

To be honest though I can't really depend on the tricky semi final against Spurs.

We'd have had a different number anyway, so we wouldn't have been drawn against Everton in all likelihood anyway.

Now you're being silly too because you are depending upon Everton not winning the appeal against the ineligible player on the basis that the paperwork was held up in the post due to the postal strike and we all know the probable outcome of that one... As for Mick's contribution, pah!

But depending on other results, other number might have changed and we could have ended up with the same number.

Anyway, let's consign it to "what might have been" and look forward to tomorrow, when we might win, lose or draw, depending on the result.

Sunderland won the FA Cup in 1973.
They beat Notts County after a replay in the 3rd Round.
Notts County had only just scraped through against a dominant Lancaster City.
If only....

Depending on results, they could have been above Morecambe by now.

Funny you should say that.
October 2001, not long after 9/11.
The Dollies were on the way up.
Lancaster City v Burton Albion.
Tuesday(or Wednesday) at Giant Axe.
1600 crowd.
Dollies won 1-0, and then lost their way.

15 August 2009
Burton Albion v Morecambe
Score 5-2
I was there and the score flattered the home side.
But wtf.
