Idea for Ken Parker - Open The Box

Idea for Ken Parker - Open The Box

Postby Loyalsupporter » Fri Nov 20, 2009 12:47 am

If you know ken could you kindly mention the below to him for me

it is just a little idea which I feel may speed up his half time entertainment.

"Okie Dokie, here we go"

When you announce the winning ticket number and sometimes you tell us the name of the ticket seller, now presuming they stay in the same area of the ground selling these tickets, could you then tell us which area the ticket was sold in

a) so I know whether to look at my ticket which is usually in my back pocket, which saves me having to put my pie and bovril down

b) may help others in some way

But why would we want to speed up this unique form of entertainment?

Why does he say "I am sure that number has been sold" I would hope it has been to be entered in the draw or could we have the scenario where he just keeps picking numbers out which haven't been sold.

Never heard him say that. He knows whats been sold by the start and end numbers of the rolls of tickets used by the sellers.

On the grounds that tickets that have not been sold are in the mix, i am out :!:

couple of reasons and another suggestion

If it is raining I am sure Ken doesn't want to be stood out there too long

If the ticket was sold in the mainstand area then the ticket holder may be in the bar, aditional shout outs in the bar could then be made

we could also have a second competition or another one running along side OTB, such as hit the cross bar.

Don't think it was the other night but I could be wrong. It's simply that more people in the Main Stand than the others usually buy a ticket; probability and all that...
