Tbf, I did do my list off the top of my head in around a minute, but do agree that "You'll Never Get Rich" (as it was originally known) is classic. I wonder why the beeb showed it all the time up to around ten years ago then stopped? It used to fill a nice hole after Newsnight, and would sit nicely on BBC3 now!

ta suzi, for two things, 1 highlighting an ugly racist sitcom, and 2 rescuing my original post , anyone wanting a best comedy top ten post could have done so, back to point one, its funny how writers of all sixties seventies racist sitcoms can rebrand themselves as being ironic, it was the thick viewers that took them the wrong way and acted accordingly

dont think things have changed much nowadays, the asian chinese and west indian job nickers are replaced by the east europeans on the blame front for our mainly white british born invalidity benifit cheat shirkers, everyone wants to come here because there is a myth that you can come here and get paid for doing nothing, you can, if you are fat, white, and lazy.
