Big turn-out needed Saturday

Big turn-out needed Saturday

Postby Wild Bill » Mon Nov 02, 2009 7:24 pm

I hope Saturday's win and some sensible ticket pricing will encourage a few more floating fans to make the trip north for what is sure to be a tasty 1st round cup tie.

Carlisle are bound to be a noisy bunch as most of their hardcore will be sat in the same stand right next to us! Only 500 made it up last time when we were in the Conference but we always seem to take plenty for the FA cup.

I predict a following of about 800ish and the Shrimps to be blessed with a bit of overdue luck and scrape a famous win against our 'big boy' rivals up the M6. Whatever happens it should be a great day out.

Any Shrimp-friendly pubs that we know of?

Well im going with 11year old step daughter were going on train about 11 depends on what we can do during day or we'd go earlier whats to do in Carlisle.

I think that only 600 to 700 aways fans going well last home match was 1,700 its christmas soon and 70miles away where some fans will be christmas shopping.

Its £15 for adults under11 go free with id to prove age

2nd week in November? Christmas is nearly two months off. Surely many wont use that as an excuse!

Here's for a good turn-out and more importantly a good result. Would be great to have a cup run and to draw a Premiership team at Christie Park in our last season.

I think we'll take around 500 again. We've got a great chance even if they don't rest any players, they aint that big.

Hang on this Carlisle team just beat Charlton Athletic the 2nd best team in league one and probably going up to the championship compared to a nervous Morecambe team.
Your telling me if they perform they wont get a couple goals im right let's face it.

No listen i am going Carlisle away hell yeah i fell as excited as the game vs Nott's County 1000% all i was saying Carlisle beat a inform Charlton where morecambe looked good on saturday against an poor team in Lincoin.

I believe if Morecambe give it an go and keep it tight in midfield they can nick an draw i would love to say win but say an Gary Hunter needs to play an brillant match .

1-1 Graham Kavanagh and Wainwright or drummond for Morecambe
