Found this on the Carlisle message board. Nice when others are considering our progress particularly when its from a regular poster from a local "rival"

"Geographically they are well-placed being in north Lancashire so players from other Lancashire clubs will not find that a move to Morecambe is a culture shock. A typical Morecambe player could live a few miles north of the town and be very close to the Lake District.

I believe that Morecambe will gradually become a substantial League Two club. In a year or two any team finishing above them will be in the play-offs. "

Did you by any chance see the number of Posts that have been made by the original poster and follow up poster.......

Hell, they both beat me by a 1000+.....

Ahhh, but the post counts of the Carlisle forum go back further than on here.

For example, the chap with 4,600 range registered in July of 2006. A range of around 40 months worth of posts, at an average of 115 posts per month

CC, your post count of almost 3,000 which dates from the latest version of SV which started July 2008. For this 16 month period you have averaged 187.5 posts per month.

187.5 less 115 = 72.5 posts more per month.

All this equates to you being 63% sadder than a dumbrian........
